Cloche hat

I made this cake for a LDS church youth activity. The theme was "Hats Off to You" and the colors were (obviously) pink and brown. I think it's the cleanest cake I've made. I'm pleased at how it turned out.

Birthday/Christmas cake

I made this cake for my husband's birthday. He specifically wanted Christmas colors. It was a 4 layer carrot cake with cream cheese frosting filling. Mmm!

My first wedding cake

A nice girl at church took a huge risk and let me make her wedding cake. I made absolutely no money on the thing, but it was a great experience. Bottom tier was strawberry, middle tier was marble and the top was vanilla. Homemade fondant, too. Yes, it was a lot of work.

First Washington Cake

I can't believe I haven't made a cake in months and months! This is the first one I've made in Washington. It was for a baby shower for a girl in my church.

A sculpted lemon fondant baby shower cake I made with my friend. I thought it turned out pretty cute.

A buttercream and fondant birthday cake. Top tier is french vanilla and the bottom is chocolate.

I made this buttercream cake for a lady at my husband's work who won a pretty prestigious award. (All the words and numbers on the cake are terms that a medical coder would recognize and use on a daily basis.) I made the computer and keyboard out of gumpaste. I should have gotten a close-up of the keyboard, because you could see every little key!
Look at that free-standing monitor!

My first "branch"-y cake

Here is a cake I made for that gorgeous 18 year old's birthday. You'll have to tell me if it looks sort of like the picture of the cake I posted previously.

The cute little vanilla cupcakes I made to accompany the red velvet cake!

Baby Shower cake

Here is a cake I made for a girl whose mom goes to my church. It's a strawberry cake filled with vanilla buttercream and decorated with homemade vanilla fondant.
Detail of one of 20 gumpaste daisies I made.
